At the urging of my sister I joined as an ACN Independent Rep in 1995. With ACN people could save money over the dominant Big Three traditional telecomm carriers. However being curious, I Googled the competition and found another company offering similar savings on long distance, which included an extremely fair income opportunity, with no signup fee or recurring costs. I was so busy working that I never even tried to market ACN. Later I did promote Cognigen because it is a known fact that 95% of people who start a business fail - so at least I would know they did not lose money trying out the free Cognigen opportunity. The Cognigen commissions were quite a bit smaller than possible from ACN but with Cognigen there was very little risk of losing money.

There are many places where you can get ACN-Leads. Just Google “ACN leads” and you’ll see millions of organic as well as paid listings. Some Lead Brokers on Google offer free ACN leads so you could theoretically try them first. But to my knowledge ACN policy prohibits buying Leads - so check with ACN policy first.

Again, if you are considering using ACN leads to build your ACN business then I would recommend that you first check ACN policy. Regarding Leads in general, many people buy expensive leads, never do anything with them, and they go stale. Or they call or email a few of their leads, experience the rejection, and quit.

When evaluating any opportunity don’t forget to include the high costs of buying leads if that is the primary advertising method being touted. In addition there will likely be a high drop out rate as new members join and come to realize they cannot afford the time and money it costs to effectively manage leads. The older a lead gets the less valuable and as soon as someone else signs them up your investment in that lead is likely lost. Also it is well known that most leads are generated from offering people something for free and unscrupulous lead brokers on Google may sell and resell the same leads dozens of times.

Buying Leads can make the difference between losing money, breaking even, or earning a small profit. Over 95% of people who start a home based business will fail. The experienced top five percent likely already have a giant list to market to, with teams of people in place who will follow into their new venture and bring hundreds along with them. Top Gurus can fill multiple levels deep in a matter of days or weeks, break records, and even create extra streams of income for themselves by selling leads to their new downline. ACN not only requires substantial customer acquisition but makes it clear that not all Independent Representatives make a profit and no one can be guaranteed success as an ACN Independent Representative. Success can only come through individual specific efforts in acquiring customers and recruiting other Independent Representatives who must also acquire customers. As with any legitimate business it takes some combination of money, resources, and consistent effort over time in order to succeed.

Success as an ACN Representative is determined by each individual’s experience, knowlege, and specific efforts. Not all ACN Independent Representatives make a profit. Profit is the universal term that signifies whether a business is successful or not. Without prfit no business can continue to keep running indefinitely. At some point, without profit, a business must fail.

ACN was the featured company in Success from Home magazine’s April 2007 issue. The magazine contained detailed information on the company’s history including Co-Founders Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Mike Cupisz and Tony Cupisz. Plus the magazine highlighted ACN’s products, support system and some of their leading representatives.

If you are thinking of using ACN Leads off Google consider instead IGB instead to build a solid long term residual income without buying leads.
