Quixtar® was launched in 1999. Their Internet commerce business model combines the commercial power of the Internet, and low-cost Independent Business Ownership (IBO) Plans. Quixtar® has a full-service infrastructure to help individuals reach their goals. Quixtar® is a division of Alticor, parent company of Amway™, Corp. Quixtar® was launched to combine the best aspects of Amway with the power and convenience of the Internet.

Quixtar® was founded by the DeVos and Van Andel families, who are among North America’s leading entrepreneurs with numerous business ventures in direct selling, sports entertainment, real estate, lodging and hospitality, and other business sectors.

There are two ways to administer a Quixtar® business. In the old Amway™ business, everyone paid their downline their bonuses and also had to pick up product from their upline. Quixtar® started paying distributors directly and offering direct shipment to each distributor’s home, but a few groups within Quixtar® still work by the old Amway methods. One such group is World Wide Dream Builders. This method is called "Standard fulfillment". The new Quixtar® method is called "Direct fulfillment".

The basic idea to making money in the business is to build a business volume where you earn a high performance bonus percentage and your down line earns a smaller percentage. For instance if you were in the 21% bonus level, you would like your downline people to be in a bonus level that is much lower than yours, say of 12% or 15%. This way you can pocket 6%-9% on the sales of your downline. If you are paying out the same percentage to your downline as you earn, you will not make any money. One needs to have his downline earning a much lower percentage than one earns to be able to keep a fair portion of the bonus.

The Quixtar®® Independent Business Owner (IBO) Compensation Plan rewards you for selling products and for sponsoring others as IBOs who will do the same.

Simple Steps to SuccessIBOs who grow the most successful businesses sell to non-IBO customers and sponsor, while experiencing the products by purchasing them for their own use.

Step 1: Learn. The only way to truly understand your products is to use them. Knowing what our products can do for you is important when presenting them as solutions for your customers. You’ll also want to fully understand the compensation plan and Quixtar®’s business rules. Check out Quixtar® University to see other training options we provide.

Step 2: Sell. As your product knowledge increases, you will discover people all around you who need what you have through your Quixtar® business. Retail selling is the easiest way to make quick money through your Quixtar® business.

Step 3: Sponsor. For some of your friends, products provide the solution they seek. For others, the Quixtar® business opportunity will have strong appeal as they seek a business that can help them achieve their goals. When you sponsor them, you can be rewarded for the business volume they generate.

If you have a Quixtar™ business and are thinking about buying leads to promote your business, well, you may want to rethink that idea. You see, I have bought many leads, and spend thousands of dollars on those leads, but in all actuality, they were non-productive, expensive and I saw absolutely no ROI on my investments.

Quixtar® leads are opt in requests for more information from people who have visited the number one home based business directory on the internet, and requested more information via the SafeLeads program.

Lead pricing:
30 Leads -
50 Leads -
100 Leads - 0
200 Leads - 0

As you can see in the price list, leads are not cheap. That is why I hate leads and I do not buy leads. I buy customers.

I don’t buy leads. I buy customers. They cost each. Half of what the results of buying leads conversion cost without all the time spent. I don’t have to make any calls. I don’t get rejected. I do not have good telemarketing skills. I don’t need them. And when I buy customers, they appear in my downline with out any effort on my part.

And the 10% of my downline that are distributors do the same thing. Man-O-man we are happy buying customers not leads!
