How Do You Beat the Odds of MLMs’ Astonishing Failure Rate?
About 10 years or so ago I remember reading something about mutual funds. What the article said was that there were actually more mutual funds than there were stocks on one of the major exchanges. It is interesting how so many mutual funds have “gotten on the bandwagon.” I thought that was kind of funny, if you think about it. All these mutual funds selling what they think is the best combination of anywhere from ten to … I don’t know … maybe around 50 or more different stocks.
Years ago, there were not very many MLM companies. Today, there are jillions of them. They market a variety of products and services, and many of them have much of the same types of items. The majority of them fail relatively quickly - and unfortunately, a lot of people get fleeced in the process.
Some stand out in a very positive way, however. Here is one that has been around since 1997, and has had much success in large part because the company is not over-hyped, nor do they use or need high-pressure sales tactics. Here is how their story begins:
1985 - Before Silpada - Bonnie Kelly and Teresa Walsh meet and become best friends when the oldest of their three children start first grade.
Early 1990s, Bonnie and Teresa each take from their grocery money to start Cool Jewels. For each of the next five years, Bonnie and Teresa average 125 shows and 5,000 in sales.
In 1997, Bonnie, Teresa and Bonnie’s husband, Jerry Kelly launch the Silpada Designs, with the first catalog featuring more than 275 sterling silver jewelry designs. Fourteen women sign on as the first independent Silpada Designs sales representatives.
Silpada Designs has withstood the test of time - a company that came together because friends shared a passion.
How To Grow Your Business – Don’t Buy Silpada Leads
So to pass that enthusiasm to new people by recruiting them as representatives, lead companies are primed and ready to sell you their lists.
Lead companies, however, have just one thing on their agenda: Sell more leads.
The lead sales industry does not have the highest degree of integrity. If they did, they would not sell you Silpada leads that have been sold to so many other people before you. To put it bluntly, the home business leads industry is wrought with corruption and low ethical standards. They sell promises that never pan out. And all you end up with in the end is an empty wallet, a lot of rejection from angry people who have already been called many times, and no one joining your organization. They don’t work, and the lead companies already know that. but that does not stop them from selling you the leads for your network marketing program.

Sounds different? But when you think about it, doesn’t it make sense? They are much cheaper than leads, you don’t have to coax them to join since they are already your customer and buying and using the products, and you will be seeing a return on your investment almost right away, instead of a drain on your wallet buying useless Silpada leads. Find out how people are quietly and in the background growing their businesses the smarter way.
