Silpada Leads Are Not the Way to Grow Your Business
If you are like me, you wanted to start a home based business to have more time with your family and friends, or just to have more time for yourself. To do the things you want to do, and not have to answer to anyone else, especially an unappreciative boss. You wanted to work on your own schedule, or pursue the things that you have always wanted to do but have not had the time because you were working at this 9 to 5 job doing something that you either do not really like doing, does not take full advantage of your potential, or is just a dead end.
What you had not counted on was that you would be going broke while trying to build your business, all the while making the lead generation companies wealthy. You were told,
“Buy leads - that’s how you grow your business.
“If people don’t respond right away, don’t worry about that. It’s a numbers game, and sooner or later someone will respond and sign up under you.
“Then all you need to do is to teach them to do exactly what you do. But just keep buying those leads and sending out those e-mails.”
If only you had known then what you know now - that they are pretty much all lies. You do know that now, right? No one joins - but, in the off-chance that someone actually does decide to take a chance and join your group, you have to coddle them and continually give them the pep talks, and sometimes even beg them not to quit. Some people even help their downlines with making their monthly qualification when they can’t make their autoship payment for some reason. This might seem like a noble effort, but it does not really do much for building self-reliance within your organization.
Silpada Designs, is a company that is known for its high quality sterling silver jewelry. Since launching in 1997, the company has averaged between 75 and 100 percent growth during each of its ten years in business through 2007. In 2006, retail sales exceeded 0 million. Silpada Designs is the fastest-growing sterling silver jewelry home show company in the U.S. with more than 3 million customers across the country.
So you have joined the company as a representative, and you have already contacted your family and friends by hosting one or more home parties of your own. They now know all about your network marketing opportunity and have probably purchased one or more items. So, as with any sales type of business, you now need to continue to make more contacts to keep your business growing, and you have been led to believe that the best way to do this, other than by word-of-mouth, is through purchasing Silpada leads. So this is where the drain on your wallet starts. And after buying several hundred - or even several thousand - dollars worth of leads, you are worse off than when you started because still no one has joined your organization.
Now the Silpada leads prices can vary from less than a penny per name to ten dollars or more. But if a lead was really worth anything – worth the actual converted value of someone joining your organization - wouldn’t their value be much higher, and correspondingly, the price? The sad truth of the matter is that even the ten dollar leads are not really worth anything since even they are sold and re-sold over and over again just like the penny leads.
But what if there was a way to grow your organization without all the wasted expense, without all the headaches and rejection. Would this be something that would interest you?
Buy Customers, not Silpada Leads
Build your business the easy, no-hassle, quiet way. Buy customers instead of Silpada leads. That is how I am growing my business. And you know what? My success is not dependent on whether or not you join. And that’s the way it should be.
