I am sure many of you out there remember the good old days when the Watkins man would come to your door with case in hand and a carload full of products to sell. We were always excited to see the Watkins man drive into the yard. Watkins still has the best baking products around as far as I am concerned. Watkins vanilla is a staple in my cupboard, as it was in mother’s and my grandmother’s cupboard. How many companies can say that!

|Watkins Leads|, No matter how great the company or the products, you still have to build your customer base, Finding those customers in large enough numbers to support yourself and your family is the biggest challenge the Watkins Leads will face when starting to build a business. Family and friends are a good way to start, then what?

Advertising Methods

The advertising used is directly related to the marketing method you choose. Word of mouth is the most common and cost effective way to promote your business. Watkins doesn’t restrict your advertising options and you may use the logo as long as you identify yourself as an independent associate.

Eventually, reality for most business entrepreneurs looking to build a home based business with any company is running out of contacts. Once you have approached your family and friends, where do you find people to contact? This is the stage where many people will just quit and move onto something else!

Purchasing leads lists is one way to enhance your contact list. Just google “leads” or “contact list” and you will get millions of results from companies ready and willing to sell you leads! The cost to you, as a purchaser of leads can range from free to upwards of PER NAME!

Free leads lists are generally available to anyone who wants them and takes the time to download the list! If your name has ever appeared on a lead list you will likely have received hundreds or even thousands of unsolicited mail from entrepreneurs wanting you to join their business. It’s enough to turn anyone off and kills any interest they may have had in building an online business. Spam laws were created to control this type of unsolicited mail, but it still is a big problem today! Especially if you are the one receiving information or solicitation you didn’t specifically ask for and don’t want.

Watkins Leads, purchased leads lists aren’t really that much better. The down side is, even when you are purchasing top dollar exclusive leads, you have no way of knowing how many other lists those people are on. The exclusive list you purchase from a particular company, promising that their lists are on sold to a limited number of people, does not mean those same people are not on some other company’s list that is being sold to hundreds or thousands of people.

Typically from a really great list only 1-3% will even be interested in your specific offering. There are no guarantees their interest will develop into any type of business association with YOU! Think about that for a minute! If you purchase a great list and are willing to pay top dollar your list at most you can expect to develop a business relationship with a very small number of people.

EXAMPLE:

100 contact leads x = 00 for your list

3 people show interest specifically in your business offering. YOU must then develop a relationship with those 3 people, provide information and coaching, and answer all their questions so they can see the benefits of having a business relationship with you. It can take many hours of your time before you enter into a business relationship, whatever that might be.

Let’s say you hit the jackpot and those 3 people decide to join you, your actual cost per lead is 00/3 = 3.33 per lead to business relationship PLUS the value you place on your time to develop that relationship.

That’s why I don’t buy leads! I BUY CUSTOMERS!

It seems that Ryan Holland of admin@customleads.net thinks that journalism is not allowed to quote content from other sites. I disagree. When blogging I often will grab quotes in reference to my article to help make my point.

Dear Ryan,

George and other bloggers have a Constitutional right to refer to other content publically posted in their journalistic posts. It would be considered a violation if he was using your contenet to compete against you to strickly sell leads which he is not. He is making comments about the practice of selling leads in his articles and has quoted your site in that article.

However I have instructed George and others to put thier quotes of other content like yours in Italics and put a link to the source of that quote giving nice credit to you.

I am sure this is satisfatory to you and I know it is above board in ethics and completally legal and in accordance with law.
