Typically from a really great list only 1-3% will even be interested in your specific offering. There are no guarantees their interest will develop into any type of business association with YOU! Think about that for a minute! If you purchase a great list and are willing to pay top dollar, at best, you can expect to develop a business relationship with a very small number of people - 3 out of every hundred is considered the industry average!
EXAMPLE:
100 contact leads x = 0 for your list
3 people show interest specifically in your business offering. YOU must then develop a relationship with those 3 people, provide information and coaching, and answer all their questions so they can see the benefits of having a business relationship with you. It can take many hours of your time before you enter into a business relationship, whatever that might be.
Let’s say you hit the jackpot and those 3 people decide to join you, your actual cost per lead is 0/3 = 6.66 per lead to business relationship PLUS the value you place on your time to develop that relationship.

A customer is someone who is already purchasing my product, knows about my service and doesn’t need to be informed of anything to make a purchasing decisions. They are already purchasing before I get them! Isn’t that cool?
